Jesus is Here

"Am I a God at hand, declares the Lord, and not a God far away?" Jeremiah 23:23

God is close, not distant. He does not watch from the edge of heaven, detached from His creation. He is both beyond all things and present in all things, near enough to breathe life into every moment you experience.

We often perceive God's greatness as something far above us, unreachable and remote. Yet the same God who spoke galaxies into existence walks with you through quiet mornings, heavy days, and sleepless nights. His transcendence reveals His higher ways; His immanence [From Latin: "to dwell in, remain"] assures us of His constant presence.

In a world filled with uncertainty, nothing escapes His care. The heartbeat of creation continues because He holds it together. The pulse of your life persists because He wills it so. From the vast cosmos to the smallest detail of your journey, His nearness remains.

When Jesus came, the invisible became visible. The eternal stepped into time. In Him, the fullness of God took on flesh, not to observe from afar but to dwell among us. Immanuel. God with us. Still.

So wherever you are today, in joy or in strain, remember this truth: you are not forgotten or unseen. The same presence that hovered over the waters now rests within reach. Jesus is here.

Step into this week with awareness of His nearness. Speak with Him, as He is listening. Walk with Him as One who stays.

Shalom, JM
