God has always called His people to move. Sometimes, He leads us to new places. More often, He stirs us within, shifting our hearts, our hopes, and our work. In every movement, He is shaping faith, revealing purpose, and drawing us deeper into His story.
“Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you.” (Genesis 12:1)
Abraham stepped out without a map. God did not show him the whole path, only the next step and a promise to hold on to. Faith often begins this way, a word from God, a quiet stirring, and just enough light to keep walking.
Moses left the quiet of the wilderness to stand before Pharaoh. God turned fear into obedience, shaping a hesitant heart into one that would lead others to freedom.
Ruth left Moab behind and stepped into a new land, a new people, and a future she could not see. God met her there, healing, providing, and weaving her story into redemption greater than her sorrow.
Joseph walked through seasons he never would have chosen. In every shift, God was at work, maturing his heart and preparing him to save even those who had hurt him.
Paul moved from certainty in himself to surrender to Christ. God redirected his zeal, sending him out to carry the gospel where it had not yet gone.
In the most challenging season of my life, having left my family behind, I find myself walking in Abraham’s footsteps, trusting God for the next step. But the story is not about me. It is about the God who calls, who leads, and who always proves faithful when we say yes.
Where is God stirring you, perhaps uncomfortably, to take a step of obedience? He is faithful. He will meet you on the path.
Shalom, JM
Fellowship Matters
"And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near." (Hebrews 10:24-25 ESV)

Choosing the Better Portion, From His Presence to Faithful Action
There is a gentle drift that can overtake us, both in the church and in our own hearts. We can become incredibly busy with deeds, yet find ourselves less present with Him.
Devoted in the Quiet Place
“O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you. My soul thirsts for you.” Psalm 63:1
There is Power in the Name of Jesus
“By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God.”
Life is not an Audition for the Afterlife.
“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing. It is the gift of God...For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” (Ephesians 2 verse 8 and 10)
Through His Wounds Comes Healing
“He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.” (1 Peter 2:24)
When God’s Trumpet Commands
“And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” (Matthew 24:31)
Jesus is Here
"Am I a God at hand, declares the Lord, and not a God far away?" Jeremiah 23:23
Today is the Day
“Now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” (2 Corinthians 6:2, KJV)
Walk forward in Faith
Deut. 8:2-3 (ESV) "And you shall remember the whole way that the Lord your God has led you these forty years in the wilderness, that he might humble you, testing you to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep his commandments or not. And he humbled you and let you hunger and fed you with manna, which you did not know, nor did your fathers know, that he might make you know that man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord."
